Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources holds a Graduation Ceremony for the New Recruits in the Eastern Region

Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources held a graduation ceremony for 312 new recruits on Tuesday, 26/11/2019, at the Directorate’s branches in Kalba, Khor Fakkan and Dibba Al-Hisn for the affiliates of the National Programme for the Rehabilitation of New Employees for 2019. The programme was launched in order to implement the directives of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, may God preserve him, by approving the appointment of 724 job seekers based on the social development requirements, and that was in the presence of HE Abdullah Salem Al Mashwi, Director of Human Resources Department, HE Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Director of Branches Affairs Department and Mohammed Sultan Al Hajeri, Deputy Director of the Department of Support Services at the Directorate.
The programme’s integrated plan aims to implement its courses and curricula at the Emirate of Sharjah, the Central Region and Eastern Region, to ensure that all new recruits in all the organisations and entities of the Emirates are included, while achieving the goal of reaching all new employees in their locations across the various cities of the Emirate. The new employees were admitted to the programme in coordination with the Departments, Institutions and government entities that they have recently joined. The intensive training programme offers courses covering the skills of dealing with employees and workers, administrative skills such as time management, office management, preparing and writing job reports, creativity and innovation skills, management education of employees as per the Implementing Regulation, performance evaluation and career discipline.
HE Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, member of Executive Council, Chairman of Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources, thanked HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, for his tireless endeavour to personally fulfil the needs of Emirati job seekers, to provide them with the suitable job opportunities and overcome the obstacles faced by them.
He explained that the Directorate puts the human cadres on the list of its priorities in order to develop their skills and abilities to cope with the rapid changes at work. Therefore, the Directorate had developed an integrated training programme to support the new employees and prepare them to enter the work environment, teach them about their rights and job duties, provide them with individual skills, and educate them in the legal affairs by introducing them to the Human Resources Law in the Government of Sharjah as well as its decisions and circulars. This will help define a right start of the employee’s career path, and create a productive work environment.
